Shawn Martin’s primary practice area is Workers’ Compensation defense. He has experience representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in all facets of Workers’ Compensation litigation.

Prior to joining Schaff & Young, Shawn served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Craig Washington in Philadelphia Municipal Court.

He received his bachelor’s degree cum laude from Haverford College and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Temple University. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Outside of law, he is deeply committed to relieving food insecurity in the Philadelphia area, having volunteered more than 1,000 hours with agencies such as Philabundance and the Jewish Relief Agency.
